MHTC Statement on UMass President Jack Wilson's Announced Resignation in 2011

“Through his leadership and innovative thinking, Jack Wilson has helped transform the University of Massachusetts into one of the leading higher education research systems in the nation,” said Massachusetts High Technology Council President Christopher Anderson.  “Jack oversaw the creation of the Mass. Technology Transfer Center, a rebuilding of the laboratory and technology infrastructure  and also connected the five-campus system in a way that benefits all students and faculty.  While Jack will be missed after he steps down next year, his mark on UMass is indelible.”
